CMMNTY, the new artist owned brand has launched

The new CMMNTY Site has launched and we are extremely proud to be a part of it.  Having been asked to get involved by the founder Dave Newman, ex Supremebeing collaborator and all round lovely man to boot.

The first run of artists are: Daran Newman, Heyoka, Guy Mckinley, Jim Vision, Mr Incognito, Mr Penfold, Sheone, Will Barras & Skuff with the family of artists growing over time. Expect to see unique artworks and much more from all involved.

In August 2016 Square Enix commissioned us to paint a mural with added lighting installation so we dusted off our design skills and got on the phone to the Custard Factory. The best location for a dystopian mural that we could find, in Digbeth by the arches, in the heart of the industrial warehouses.

Idris Elba joins Jim Vision at his Star Trek Beyond mural production

It’s not every day that you get to paint a huge Star Trek mural so when our past clients Paramount Pictures got in touch to ask if we could paint a large mural of the key characters we jumped at the opportunity. Little did we know that in the meantime they were also working on getting one of the stars to come down and get involved. With less than a week to plan the whole project we got things moving to create a huge piece featuring the key baddie and goodies from the new film, Star Trek Beyond.

Goodwood : Festival of Speed – WTCC Car Tag Heuer Mural by Jim Vision with EndoftheLine

TAG Heuer commissioned Jim Vision to paint a World Touring Car Championship WTCC Chevrolet. The WTCC Art Cars were on show at Goodwood Festival of Speed near Chichester. EndoftheLine & Jim Vision were tasked with completing the artwork in one day live at the festival. The design featured the speed and vitality of Motor sports with vibrant colours, the Don’t Crack under pressure campaign brief and watch elements.

Meeting of Styles 2016 UK Festival Release

The UK Meeting of Styles festival comes to London – Full Press Details are here.

Sandwiched between the tracks on the north side of the overground between Shoreditch High Street and Whitechapel station you will glimpse an organic space filled with activity, and surrounded by painted walls. Imagine spending 3 days in a garden oasis, in the middle of the city, immersed in live painting and music, and all for free.

2016 has had a somewhat tumultuous start, what with one thing or another, moving studios, running our retrospective show “Neverended” and planning the UK Meeting of Styles, we’ve not really had a chance to take a breath. The show only just been put to bed when we were tasked with creating a mural for Studiocanal’s recent release “High-Rise” starring Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans and a host of eclectic British actors and directed by Ben Wheatley.

New Year New Walls

New Year, New Walls.

Despite the impending cold snap (actual winter really?!) looming and the inclement weather we’ve been experiencing many artists and painters have been out creating new works in the start of 2016. I for one love to see walls getting a spring clean and new pieces popping up all over, a few of which you can see in this post.
