EndoftheLine turned up the heat in Victoria Park at the Lovebox Weekender during the blazing summer of 2006.
In 2006 EndoftheLine and Aerosolics set up the biggest graffiti festival in East London’s Lovebox Festival. Check out the flickr pics here.
Energetic Londoners got up close and personal as they crammed into the 2000 capacity ‘Cablestreet Cinema‘ Tent for an amazing AV set from godfathers of the game – Coldcut, amidst a line-up of headliners, programmed by music maestros Nizim, that also included the legendary Digital Mystikz.
As the revellers competed for space on the grassy floor, outside 8 graffiti crews were competing for the top spot in the first ever Best of British Write4Gold competition, a qualifying heat in the international annual search for the best crew in the world.
Whilst the playoffs took place, a further 150 writers painted on the 500 metres of custom-built wall in the Aerosolics Arena. Festival goers had the rare chance to witness some of the most famous, infamous, and innovative writers in the world including Mode2, Seak, Maclaim crew, Smash 137, Xenz and Nash to name only a tiny handful.
