Jim Vision’s Dancers

So, we didn’t realise this was a thing, but apparently it’s World Ballet Day today….Happy (belated) World Ballet Day! In honour of this bizarre worldwide holiday we’ve compiled a few of our favourite shots of dancers in front of Jim Visions walls.

Below are the images from the Breakdown Circus crew at the Trocadero, Christian & Mikaela in Buenos Aires, Justin Reid Instagram grab from shutter in Bushwick NY, Vik Taak shooting Olivia Grace Cowley on Redchurch street & the models for Mei Hui store in Brick lane, Turville street.

In light of these great images, we’d also like to bring attention to 2 great photographers among the bunch that have taken some stunning shots of dancers in front of walls:

Vik Taak who is a London based photographer who has been taking some images of dancer Olivia Grace Cowley in front of a number of pieces including Jim Vision, Mr Cenz & David Walker.

Justin Reid is a Brooklyn based dance photographer who has taken shots of a number of different talents everywhere from Brooklyn bridge to the Botanical gardens.

Endoftheline x I Am Legion Video Launch!

We’re pleased to announce part one of our exclusive I Am Legion video series, documenting Jim Vision painting the London leg of our recent international venture alongside the track . Vision has painted murals in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and London to coincide with the launch of I Am Legion‘s single ‘Choosing For You’. The five strong group are made up of UK hip hop collective Foreign Beggars and electronic music trio Noisia. The groups have recently launched a competition on Facebook – take a photo of yourself next to one of the murals and be in with a chance of winning tickets to a live show.

We’ll be updating you on our time in LA, Brooklyn and Paris soon!

Jim Vision in New York

Following on from our last blog post on Jim Vision in LA, here we’ve got photos from his time in New York. Jim’s been travelling through these cities painting site specific murals for a large scale commission which we can’t quite reveal yet – Again we’ve seen some awesome graffiti along the way in a city where the urban art scene is thriving – especially in Brooklyn where we were based. We’ve painted some walls and met loads of interesting people including the guys at the Bushwick Collective.

Check out this awesome piece below featuring Nychos, Buff Monster, The Yok, Tristan Eaton and Lamour. Great to see the collaborative mural by Nychos and Smitheone as well, who’s styles work together in a deconstructive mind mash of unravelling creatures. The Yok’s signature colour palette of black, reds and white looks awesome too, as well as Case’s (Ma’Claim Crew) hyper realistic rainbow hands. Check out Jim’s galactic horse scene nestled between the Brooklyn art, and his monochrome portraits standing out tall against a back drop of New York City. Ahhh. We’ve got some great footage of the trip to show you, all will be revealed soon. Until then, Jim is painting a wall in a secret East London location which might soon become very familiar to us…
