The V&A hosts a new exhibition based upon a new piece of fiction from the author Hari Kunzru this month. ‘Memory Palace’ is displayed in a unique form, where the public is invited to wander through Kunzru’s dystopian world, with sections of the text being interpreted by 20 leading graphic designers, illustrators and typographers.
The Oakley Beyond Reason mural come day 2 was a lot more comfortable then the previous.
So after nearly having our spray cans & camera equipment explode under the scorching heat that was Monday, we decided it’d be best to start a little later Tuesday.
Working in the evening was beautiful; peace and quiet + cool night breeze = great work environment, so we got plenty done; Jim got the panel finished, got the outlines ready for the next day and we even managed to sneek in a little spot of dinner too…pleasant!
Panel de numero dos…
By the way, we’re also putting together a video for this project so watch this space keen readers…
Oakley sunglasses approached EndoftheLine to do a mural for the release of their new range of sunglasses ‘Radarlock’ and to coincide with the ‘Beyond Reason’ campaign.
Day 1 went off to a flying start, the weather was great, the spirits were high and the wonders of Jim’s Visions were truly starting to take form.
Take a peek at some of the shots from the first panel on Great Eastern Street.
We’re going to be finishing off these panels during this week, so stay tuned folks for the full 4 piece mural for the brand.
Artwork (as you should all know by now) by Jim ‘Probs’ Vision
The team clocked in for Night shift 2 to continue painting the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter mural on the panels on Great Eastern Street, in East London.
Filmed in the freezing cold early March this project is a collaborative effort between EndoftheLine, Toby Summerskill, Lazy Habits, the artwork was painted and the video edited by Jim Vision aka Rockwell and last but by no means least WeAreKash who put the finishing touches to the grading and edit.
The Road is out later in 2012 on Lazy Habits self-titled ep.
Good friends and frequent collaborators, Lazy Habits, are one of the UK’s foremost live hip hop bands and their horn-heavy uptempo tracks feature as the soundtrack on quite a few of our videos. The guys asked EndoftheLine to produce a video for their critically acclaimed single ‘The Road’. The resulting video features Probs painting an enormous post apocalyptic industrial cityscape. We also designed and painted the front cover of their incredible new album.
