Mix2 from Incandescent Artists

Last week we waddled our asses over Mix2, the second instalment from Incandescent Artist‘s Lee Button.

Mix2 is exactly what it says on the package, an excellent mix of emerging and established talent curated beautifully in the Underdog Gallery space. Featuring works and prints from over 35 artists, notable work came from new faces Tom Lewis who showed off some of his larger canvases, and Liam Motyer with super smooth wooden carved skulls and hearts.

Take a peek at some of the work below and head down to Underdog Gallery before the 11th November to catch a glimpse of Mix2.

Mr Jago – NIL

At the end of last week, the EndoftheLine team headed out to buzzing Soho to catch a glimpse of the latest solo show from Mr Jago, NIL.

Taking place at the Unit gallery on Wardour street, the space was filled with pieces big and bigger, all fine examples of classic Jago style; bright colours chopped together with a balanced mix of black and white. Expressionist brush strokes and paintings that have been turned on their head and splashed over again.

Having watched the man himself in action back at the Scrawl Collective reunion, it is a truly fascinating process that Jago takes to create these intensely appealing pieces, so to see a room filled with his labours was wonderful.

The Unit London was heaving with people eager to get their hands on the exclusive artwork, and Jago’s mum even came to give her support.

NIL runs until the 20th November, so get on down before it get’s taken down!!

Moniker Art Fair

Last night we headed out with the masses to Moniker Art Fair – the annual art showcase that brings together the best and brand new art galleries and artists. Primarily focused around contemporary and urban art, the standard of work at the fair was outstanding, featuring artists such as Etam Crew, Herakut, Mad C, Bambi and the key figure that we were super excited to see, Bom.K.

This was the place to be and be seen, and everyone in the industry and their mother were there. We luckily managed to squeeze in at 5 oclock and missed the rush, so managed to get a few shots that weren’t dominated by heads. Take a look at the work on offer below.

Moniker Art Fair will be running all weekend and will have a number of different talks, showcases and events going on as well as a bespoke dining experience set up by the guys at Street Feast and Patron tequila. There are still tickets available, so get yours right here.
