Last night Anthony Lister opened the doors to his new solo exhibition ‘Unslung Heroes’ and we have been looking so forward to this we could  barely keep still. Evidently this was true for everybody else in London as well as we could hardly get through the doors. The whole place was like a who’s who of big names in the street art scene in London. With minimal but well chosen pieces of work from the artist, the show was unreal and was exactly what we had expected from one of the most worldly renowned Australian artists of our time. Not only were the intricate pieces of work amazing to look at but his small details added to the walls made for an interesting read…. Don’t miss Anthony Lister at The Outsiders Gallery!

Last night EOTL headed over to the opening night of Louis Masai’s solo exhibition ‘Afrofabrication’

The venue was rammed to the door, and we were not surprised. Masai had filled every space the Nancy Victor Gallery had to offer, literally! The amount of work that had gone in to the show was immense. From small jars filled with bugs in resin, a wall covered in small frames with bugs holding mixed stationary, bug printed toilet paper,and even behind the vast array of canvases were hidden smaller ones with African textile print. An awesome mix of sketch, painting, sculpture and much more, all showcasing Masai’s incredible ability to capture natures beauty while applying unnatural textures to them. This exhibition runs until the 7th December which gives you guys time to get your booties down there and I highly recommend you do!

Following our recent post about the Lister piece that went up in the King John Car Park, turns out he has crossed over…the road, to do another mural on the wall on Great Eastern Street! Another sick performance from the Aussie artist! We can see why he is labelled Australia’s best illustrator!

Anthony Lister has a solo exhibition ‘Unslung Heroes’ opening this week at the Outsiders Lazarides Gallery in London & Newcastle! The gallery is at 8 Greek Street, Soho, W1D 4DG & if you’re lucky enough to be invited there’s a private view on the 15th! See you there!

Bonzai was hitting up Great Eastern Street today to give the four walls a new panel – keeping more in tune with the colour waves that are happening over there since Anthony Lister added his new piece – And Bonzai’s piece gave the wall a perfectly complete look & all with the help of EOTL’s tiny resident Gatsby…

If you were passing through Hanbury street (off Brick Lane) today you would have seen two very wet and hard working artists painting a new mural on the corner of the road. French artists Bom’K & Liliwenn are on day 2 of their portrait-esque murals and they look like they’re gonna be a hella good…but really what else did we expect from these 2?

EndoftheLine headed down to the King John Carpark at the weekend to witness Anthony Lister splashing up a new mural. What a sight for sore eyes – literally…have a wee look.
