Jim Vision ‘The Force Awakens’ Print Available Now!

Jim Vision has been in the lab for the last couple of weeks prepping for the crazy Christmas month ahead. After paying tribute to Noryoshi Ohrai on Pedley street, he started his second Star Wars inspired piece ready for ‘The Artist Awakens’ exhibition opening on the 17th December at the Underdog Gallery. The “Force Awakens’ canvas took around 2 solid weeks to complete and is a stunning amalgamation of some of the most iconic and beautiful film imagery mixed with classic Jim Vision explosions, apocalyptic skies and galaxy utopia.

Now we just couldn’t wait that long to get this out, so we have offered up an opportunity to get your hands on this piece in print for a limited time only!

EndoftheLine are running a competition to give YOU a CHANCE TO WIN your very own 29cm x 37cm print. Simply RT, Repost or share on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram WITH the hashtag #JimVisionPrint to qualify!

Mix2 from Incandescent Artists

Last week we waddled our asses over Mix2, the second instalment from Incandescent Artist‘s Lee Button.

Mix2 is exactly what it says on the package, an excellent mix of emerging and established talent curated beautifully in the Underdog Gallery space. Featuring works and prints from over 35 artists, notable work came from new faces Tom Lewis who showed off some of his larger canvases, and Liam Motyer with super smooth wooden carved skulls and hearts.

Take a peek at some of the work below and head down to Underdog Gallery before the 11th November to catch a glimpse of Mix2.

Bom.K – Progress on Pedley Street

Yesterday we ventured out of the nest after rumours told that our friend from across the waters was out painting on Pedley street. We’ve known Bom.K for quite some time now following a number of exhibitions including Meeting of Styles and Shades of Things to Come, and saw him last when he came over for a group show with his fellow crewdem, the world renowned french team Da Mental Vaporz for the Urban Masters show at Factory 7.

Now this gentle genius has returned to open the doors to his solo show as part of Moniker Art Fair. L’imprevisible Imaginaire is one of the most exciting exhibits to be shown in this fair and we cannot wait to get down to the opening night this evening to see what he’s been cooking up. On his arrival, Bom.K was also so kind to bring us a couple of gifts from his last shows. See his figure from Aerotik collection and a collaborative print from Bom.K, Brusk & Gris1.

L’imprevisible Imaginaire opens tonight at Moniker Art Fair and will run through until Sunday 18th at the MYA Gallery stand – Want to get a look in? Get your tickets here.
